Thanks to the strikes at French airports last week, Réol Beaufort’s scheduled visit to NY sadly did not occur, so we can now release the wines we were holding for his visit, from vintages going back to 1997!

We tasted 12 wines at the Réol-less dinner at Chambers last Thursday, accompanied by the superb cuisine of Jon Karis and staff. Pascaline Lepeltier did a disgorgement “a la volée” of the delicious Polisy Brut Rosé, and all the wines showed beautifully! We’re happy to offer the remaining wines today and we apologize that only a few bottles each remain from the older vintages. Réol promises to return in the fall and we should have another shipment of these unique and extraordinary wines later this spring.

A few bottles are available of the 1997 and 1998 Polisy Brut. The December 2021 disgorgement of the 1998 showed beautifully and the 1997 was superb at last week’s dinner, showing wonderful intensity of fruit and firm acidity. Four wines from 2014 are available including the 2014 Polisy Demi-Sec - we loved the 1996 and 2002 Demi-Sec, the 2014 should be beautiful!
