Coruna del Conde 2020 Castilla y Leon BCDC

Alberto López Calvo and his wife Angélica Amo López took over Alberto's grandfather's vineyards in 2019, tending the 50-year-old vines making low intervention wines with a fun and fresh style at the 1000 meter elevation estate. BCDC is 100% Tempranillo, vinified in stainless steel (50% destemmed and 50% whole cluster) before being aged 5 months in 500-liter French barrels. This wine has lots of generous dark fruit character lifted by bright acidity, bringing a pleasant harmony between fullness and freshness framed by a touch of tannin.
