Peybonhomme 2022 Cuvee les Deux C

The Hubert family welcomes newborns Camille and Colette with the new cuvée 2 C. "Syrah and Touriga Nacional, unusual among us in the Gironde but which, thanks to Biodynamics, wonderfully reveal our terroir." The wine is supple and ripe with soft tannins, a perfect easy-drinking red to serve cool with grilled foods and picnics this summer. The Syrah, resting on limestone, has a nice expression here, and the subtle leathery character from the Touriga Nacional plays well with the red fruits of the Malbec and Merlot. (50% Syrah / 25% Touriga Nacional / 15% Malbec / 10% Merlot.)
