Tissot, Stéphane 2021 Pinot Noir Confidentiel

What is the PN Confidentiel (and why didn't Stephane make an label in hommage to LA Confidential!)?? As we learned from Tissot's US importer, Camille Riviere, due to frost & mildew in 2021, Stephane did not make this two top Pinot Noir bottlings, Barberon or Sous la Tour. Instead, he blended the fruit and aged the wine for 18 months, which is a shorter period than he normally ages the former wines, but is still a suitable amount of time! A lovely and light bodied expression, perhaps a one-off, until the next time Stephane loses most of his Pinot fruit... so probably 2024 too ?!
