Chambers Street is very proud to feature the great Alsatian wines of these three wonderful producers - at prices that are somewhat miraculous given the amazing quality of the wines! We have always loved the wines of Pierre and Chantal Frick. They've been organic since 1970 and Biodynamic since 1981 and have been leaders of the natural wine movement in France. Their wines have a lovely purity and mineral character that is unsurpassed in Alsace and we are extremely happy to be able to import these great wines directly at very reasonable prices. We have tasted the wines of the Domaine Gerard Schueller (Bruno Schueller is now the winemaker) at natural wine events in France, and after lengthy negotiations we have finally succeeded in importing 5 of these unique and delicious wines which we urge you to try - they don't seem to be available anywhere else. Laurent Barth took over the family estate in 1999 and practices meticulous organic farming and aims for extremally low yields. He is a warm and friendly person which is reflected in his wines - the two we are featuring in this email are fabulous values, especially the Grand Cru Markrain for only $19.99! This is a truly fascinating and diverse group of living, natural wines - mix a case or two for some exciting oenological exploration!
