Come on down to the cozy confines of 79 Chambers Street today and enjoy a taste of Champagne while you shop for last-minute New Year needs - we'll open a few bottles of the great recently disgorged older wines from Champagne André Beaufort this afternoon to see how they're doing. (Maybe 1999, 2003, 2006...?)
It's our twenty-fourth New Year at Chambers Street Wines and once again we'd like to thank our wonderful customers downtown, around New York and around the country for making it possible!
We hope that we have often put a smile on your face with a good glass of wine, and we hope that our support of organic, Biodynamic and natural wines has in some way assisted those winemakers who have chosen this different and sometimes difficult path - for the good of their families, their workers, their customers and the earth.
And of course we'll continue to offer mature Italian rarities from Piedmont and beyond, as well as carefully cellared private collections containing some of the world's most outstanding wines!
(And those of you lucky enough to get a reservation will be able to enjoy the superb cuisine of Jon Karis and the great wine list of Pascaline Lepeltier at Chambers, right across the street.)
We wish for health and happiness for all in 2025, for peace and understanding, brightened by the simple joys of good food and good wine with friends and family. And so we propose this toast to our customers and friends and to the vigneronnes and vignerons who enrich our lives with their beautiful wines!
