Shipping & DELIVERY

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages. By placing your order you have represented to Chambers Street Wines that you are at least 21. All shipments of alcoholic beverages require an adult's (at least 21 years of age) signature upon delivery.

DELIVERIES IN MANHATTAN BELOW CANAL STREET

Free delivery on all orders. Please place your order by 7:00 PM to guarantee delivery the same evening.

DELIVERIES IN MANHATTAN ABOVE CANAL STREET & IN BROOKLYN

Free delivery with a minimum order of $150 in Manhattan and Brooklyn. For orders that fall below the minimum, there is a $15 charge for delivery.

DELIVERIES TO OTHER AREAS IN NEW YORK STATE

FedEx rates apply and will be calculated at checkout. Our default is FedEx Ground, with most shipments arriving next day, and shipments to Western NY taking up to two days.

OUTSIDE NEW YORK STATE

With just a few exceptions (CT, FL, and DC), Chambers Street Wines is not allowed to ship wine directly to consumers outside of New York State, but we can arrange for your wines to be shipped through a third party carrier. Technically, we coordinate for a third party to ship your property to you, and are not engaged in the act of shipping, though we can be counted on to provide the best customer service during this process and are happy to answer any questions that might arise! Typically, wines are shipped via UPS Ground, but expedited options (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, etc.) are available by request.

We can easily hold purchases for free up to 180 days if you would like to consolidate your purchases.  Simply select the appropriate option at checkout.  If you are buying wine in June,July, or August and want it shipped, we strongly recommend holding it here at the store until September, or until there is a cool spell in your region.

THE FINE PRINT

The customer contracts with the carrier (generally FedEx), who Chambers Street Wines will engage on behalf of the customer. In the case of shipments outside New York State, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. If we are unable to ship to your area, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and suggest that shipping be arranged to a direct-shipping friendly state. Return Policy

NYS law only permits us to accept the return of goods that are defective; for such returns we can offer a replacement of the same item, or we can refund a credit card, or we can issue a store credit.

PRE-ARRIVAL PURCHASES

We guarantee the ultimate delivery of all pre-arrival purchases. Unfortunately, we have no control over the delivery date of the wines we offer on a pre-arrival basis and are often given inaccurate information (or no information at all) by our shipping agent. If you cannot stand to wait any longer and decide to cancel your order, we will charge you 7% of the purchase price to cover the credit card charges (for the original purchase and the refund).
