It is widely planted across New York State, and is more often used as a table grape than a wine grape. We love the nostalgic flavors of Labrusca grapes in wine, however, and we decided to let this one shine as a still varietal wine.” \u003c\/em\u003eWe tasted this recently at the shop and it really blew me away, in that there's a distinct grape-juice nose (which I personally love) but the palate is light, crisp, dry and mineral. The finish is long and elegant, with just a hint of structure.
