This exceptionally rare cuvée, crafted entirely from Serine, is among the few 100% Serine wines produced in the world. The grapes undergo carbonic maceration and age two years in used oak barrels. There are zero sulfites added at any stage. The 2023 is more delicate on the nose with brambly spice and savory herbs, with subtle dark fruit poking through which should begin to show more with some years in the bottle or a long decant. It's quite firm with chewy tannins and brisk acidity in its youth, and should probably stay in the cellar another few years before opening.
