The parcel is made up of 45+-year-old vines on sandy pink granite soils on a southeast-facing hillside in the western part of Corcelette, a vineyard that seems to give a bright and vibrant style of Morgon. This is a full, quite deep-colored Morgon, with punchy black cherry and cooked raspberry fruit and a snap of acidity reminiscent of plum skin. There is plenty of weight and breadth in the mid-palate and the texture is lovely and fine-grained a hall mark of this vineyard site and the sandy soils.
