Andrea Occhipinti's 2024 Alea Rosa is a wine grown on the volcanic soils surrounding Lake Bolsena in Lazio. It glows an electric pink color. Raspberry jam, strawberries, rose petals, and hibiscus tea abound on the nose. The volcanic soils offer an undercurrent of stony minerality. This wine gets cleaner every year and it is the best vintage in the past 10 years. Vibrant and pristine.
