The palate is elegant and silky with a perfect balance between fruit, tannin and acidity, beautifully textured with a melange of cool red and black fruits. The finish is pure and clean with a bitter edge to the black fruits that linger on the palate. Delicious and quite elegant now but the wine will be really superb when more mature, give it 3 to 5 years then enjoy until 2040 and beyond. The palate shows dense, chalky, ripe black raspberry, cherry and black plum liqueur, beautifully balanced and fresh, with hints of cocoa, citrus peel, humus and minerals with a beautiful long finish of sappy fruit and stone flavors. This is a gorgeous wine - it has softened and open up nicely over the past year and is now ready to drink,  but perhps best after three to five years, drink till 2040 and beyond. Highly recommended!
