Two of the Webers' parcels in the Herrenberg are the lower slope, "Kleiner Klaus", with 65-year-old Riesling vines planted in soils of majority blue and gray slate with a bit of quartz. The other parcel is higher on the slope and is called Zuckerberg. This bottling carries aromas of fennel, honeysuckle, white peach, star anise, and a hint of petrol at the backend. On the palate, this is classic dry Falkenstein with a bracing minerality that offers notes of melon and lime zest before a zinging lemongrass finish. (A.P. Nr. 3 525 672 1 15)
