It’s 50th anniversary time, so why not taste some 1967 Barolo and Barbaresco? 1967 (along with 1964) is considered one of the best vintages of the decade, and I’ve certainly had a lot of pleasure from many that I’ve tasted. Let’s find out! We will taste Barolo from Barale, Burlotto, Cappellano, Cavallotto, Franco Fiorina, Marcarini, Oddero, E. Pira, Prunotto, Ratti, F. Rinaldi, G. Rinaldi, and a surprise or two, at Maialino on October 16th. Frankly we'd like to taste all of the wines that we have on offer below, but we'll need a little extra help with that, please. Jamie Wolff

Not the Riserva, but no slouch, this wine is still alive and drinking. It may even show a bit more fruit that the '67 Riservas. With proper handling (time to rest, and proper decanting) this is a real treat.
